Week 18-20

MATH

I played prodigy. I am learning how to read and compare graphs. I am learning about negatives. I am learning how to use them in real life.

SCIENCE

 I learned how important bees are. I learned that 1 bee can make up to 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey in its life. I learned that beeswax is one of the best moisturizers. I also learned that Honey is the best natural sweetener. 

SOCIAL STUDIES
I learned about George Washington. I learned that he was a respected man. He was a kind ruler, but he didn't let anyone push him around. I learned that he was smart. I learned that was smart with words and plans.  

LANGUE ARTS
I learned about House on Mango Street. I learned that it a coming-of-age novel. I also learned that it is based on the author's life story. It is written in poems like a journal kind of. 

DRONE
I learned about drone VR goggles. I learned that a good headband to keep it on is very important.  I also learned that it is good to have a bigger screen so you can see more in your peripheral vision. I also learned that it is important to have no light come in so you don't get distracted or have a glare on the screen. 


GYMNASTICS
I went to class this week. I did a front walkover. I also have been working on my strength. I also have been working on my handstands. I am working on my back flexibility.
