week 36

MATH
I did my teaching text books. I did lesson 81 I got 100% or 21/21. I learned about Angles.
I did lesson 83. I got 90% or 19/21.   
I did lesson 84. I got 95% or 20/21.  




LANG ARTS 
I am righting a family night lesson. 
I am almost done with my False Princess book. I am on chapter 17.  
I finished my False princess book. 
I am typing up my blog. 
I took a 50 word spelling test. I missed 19 words. 




HISTORY
I am learning about the great depression. I watched The Kit movie.  The great depression started in 1929 and lasted until 1939. it lasted 10 years. people where forced to leave there homes. most people rented there homes so they could make money. Many homes where like a hotel. People that lost there houses would live there. It was very hard to fined good jobs. In some places there was people that would have places where you could go if you had no money to bye food. 





SEWING 
I made doll robes. I made it kinda like how i made a doll pants. I traces them and i cut out the center of one peace the i sewed it together and cut a strip of fabric for the robe string. It started with the fall of stock prices in the US around September 4th 1929. people where forced out of there homes because they could not afforded to keep there house. Some people started renting there homes for money and it was like a hotel where people that lots there homes can stay there until it was over.

MATH
I did lesson 77. I got 100% or 21/21. 
I did lesson 78. I got 95%. 
I did lesson 79. I got 100% or 21/21. 
I did chap quiz 12. I got 100% or 24/24. 
I did lesson 80. I got 100% or 21/21. 



LANG ARTS 
I started and finished my cam Jansen book. 
I am reading my false princess book. 
I am also typing my blog for about 20 mins a day. 
I also did a new blog entry. 




SEWING 
I made a skirt out of tool. It has a train on the back.
It took me about 1 hour. 
I really like how it has the diamond on the front.

I took some pictures of my sister.  
She is wearing the skirt i made. 
I edited them. I really liked the one of her laying on the grass. 

HISTORY
I learned about eh tallest man on earth. His name is Sultan Kosen. He is 31 years old. And he is from Turkey.  
I also learned about the shortest man on earth. His name is Chandra Bahadur Dangi.   He is 75 years old. He is from Nepal. He is 1 foot and 7 inches.

MATH
I did lesson 74. I got 100%.  
I did lesson 75. I got 100%.
I did a chapter quiz 11. I got 100%.  
I did lesson 79. I got 100% 



HISTORY
I learned about mothers day. It was created in 1908, by Anna Jarvis. She felt mothers needed to be appreciated more so so created this holiday so people around the world can realize how important mothers are. It dint become an official holiday in 1914.  




LANG ARTS 
I read my Greek gods book. I am on Persephone. I am at the part when she just eat the pomegranate. 
I am reading a book called the false princess.
I am on chapter 3. 
I read the most saddest part ever.   



SEWING 
I made a american girl doll dress.
It is gray and and weight. It has a shall and it also has leggings. I did the bottom of the shirt by making it ruffle. I make the leggings by laying the doll on the fabric and tracing the legs on the fabric and sewing on the lines I drew.
