January 26th through January 30th (week

Math
I  learned about mirror image   and that on both sides ore the same
I practiced my adding and subtracting.
I played the allowance game and i learned about money and coins.
I practiced word problems and estimation.  


Lang arts 
I learned about grammar and comas.
I am reading ever after high to my sisters every night.
I learned about proper nouns and that stuff.
I finished a book called Gallagher Girls. and i am reading a book called Mystery of the Egyptian scroll.
I leaned that a English word will not end i a v,u,i. but in the word spaghetti that is not a English word it is Italian so it can end in a i.
I am writing a story on a pop stare and i am on pg.4.
I played study island.


Science 
 I made a volcano model and i am painting it.
I watched some shows called wild kratts and in the shows i learned about the golden Weber spider and that if the spiders silk was as thick as a pencil that it could stop a jet in mid air.
And i watched an other show called bill nye an it talked about sound waves. and that most of the sound not always but most of the time it travels in waves.
I mace a chart a while back about the week days and how they tie to Greek gods.

I watched a show on dolphin and learned how they eat and live and what some of the clicks  mean and that a dolphin has its own name and to show it they have a special nose pattern that shows there names.

Jan 19th through the 23rd week 21

                                                                 Math
I did weight with a scale and i learned that a empty cup of water is not even a pound but a full cup of water is a pound and a half,  
a empty carton of milk is the same as a empty cup of water and a full carton of milk is about 2 and a half pounds.
5 bananas is 2 pounds.
A remote is about 200 grams.
I learned about complementary angels. i did three papers of 10 questions each and one my first try i got them all rite.
I practiced my measurements and adding and subtracting mixed fractions.



Sciences and S.S
I read a book about volcanoes, For a volcano protect.   

I did a experiment on gravity.
This is a video on what i did.  

I learned  about the worm and why it comes up to the top.

I also learned about germs.

I made a volcano model and hears a pic of it.

I watched a show called Liberty kids and it teaches early American history.

                                                                                                                                           

Lang arts 

I learned about plurals and how to tell what to put on the end.

I learned about Marten Luther King Jr. and what he did for us. and we watched a movie called Remember the Titans. it is at that time that marten was making a different. 

My grate grandma lived in that time and she had a hard time excepting the blacks as people and not slaves.   

I played Apples to Apples and learned about the spelling of the different words.   

         

Week 20, Jan 12-16

                                                                  Science
I presented my report and got a A.
I learned about the mastodon, it is extincted and humans hunted the down.
I watched a show on our longs and giraffes. 
I watched a show on a duck bill platypus.
It is the only mammal in the world that lays eggs.   
                                             













                                          Math
I did  TANGOES and learned about the different shapes.
I did a work sheet and it tat me to round to the nearest ten and one hundred.
I made some cookies all by my self and i had to double the batch so i had to add mixed fractions    
Lang Art

I made a letter box and rote a story about a pop stare 
I rote a letter and practiced my punctuation marks.
I did tipping on a blog. ;)  

  Lego  
I played with my Lego and i built a two story house with a bed and dresser and a kitchen.

I did a assignment

January 5th through the 9th

                                   Math 
I did fractions and i learned how to order bigger numbers to smaller numbers.
I learned about mm and how 1 cm equals 10 mm and in one inch theirs 2 1/2 cm.
I practiced adding and subtracting fractions.
I learned about time and rounding to the nearest 100,10 and 5. 
I helped my mom cook some cookies and so i got to practiced my fractions.  









                                  Lang. Arts 
I learned the e rule when you have a word like caring you will brake it up like this care + ING  you need to drop the e and add the suffices. and when you do you get caring!
I did cursive possessive nouns.
I learned the differences of the word to,two and too.
I learned what a hyphens are, they divide a word like sister-in-law.
I learned about colons and that they are the ones that look like this, : in the time it is you'd like this 7:30. 
I learned about the schwa. 















                                        Science S.S
I am doing a protect on African Elephants.
I learned that Elephants are pregnant for 20 months.
And a girl Elephant is called a cow boys are called a bull and a baby Elephant is called a calf.
The Elephant can smell sound and so when they are lost from the herds they yous sound to fined the way back.
They live in gender herds boys live with boys and girls and babies live together. 
I finished my Elephant project. 
I had so much stuff i had to yous both sides.
