Week 12

MATH
I played prodigy. I get all the answers right. I am learning how to find the perimeter. I am also working on the Pythagorean and Thyrom. I learned that t
he word “hundred” comes from the old Norse term, “hundrath”, which actually means 120 and not 100.
SOCIAL STUDIES
I learned about wax seals. I learned that each family had its own seal. I also learned that the seal was invented before paper. They used it for tablets and things. I learned that in the Revolutionary War, George Washington paused the war to return one of the general's dogs. 
I also learned that they stopped the war for Christmas.


LANGUES ARTS
I am doing my reading. I am doing my typing. I did my spelling. I did my grammar. I learned the most common letter in English is "e". The most common vowel in English is "e", followed by "a". The most common consonant in English is "r", followed by "t". 

Eunoia, at six letters long, is the shortest word in the English language that contains all five main vowels



GYMNASTICS
I am working on my front walkovers. I am working on my splits. I am working on my back handsprings. I am working on my core. I learned that in the Olympics only women can compete in the Balance Beam and Uneven Bars. And Gymnastic uniforms are made up of a leotard that is form-fitting, comfortable and provides ease of movement. Leotard is named after a French acrobat who lived from 1842 until 1870. His name was Jules Leotard

TECH
I am working on my new video. I am working on getting to know the program. I am working on my intros and outros. I am also working on a new recipe.
