Week 24

MATH 
I learned that in one mile there is 1760 yards, and 1/8 of that is 220 yards.
I did lesson 44. I leaned how to add and subtract numbers with different denominators.
I got 85% or 17/20. I missed three.  




HISTORY
I learned why pea coats are called pea coats. 
That title has been used for almost 300 years. The coats where mostly worn by  working sailors so it was called p-coat, the p stands for pilot, pilot of the sea.
and we took it from there and re-named it pea coat.   


LANG ARTS 
I am reading the Scorch Trials.
I did two lessons in typing, I learned where the s,t,and l are on the key board.
I finished the Scorch Trials. I am now reading the Death Cure.


SEWING
I finished my doll shirt. I learned how to put Velcro on a shirt. 
I also made an Ever after high doll shirt with ruffles.  



PHOTOGRAPHY
My next lesson i am going to learned how yo use the bounce. The bounce softens harsh light. 
You can make you own bounce using a Styrofoam board.
