Week 39

MATH
I did prodigy. I am working on calculating the area of a shape. I am continuing to learn about the Pythagorean Theorem. I am working on my Algebra. I am working on my graphs. I am working on finding a point that has been turned at a 90-degree angle.



SCIENCE/SOCIAL STUDIES
I am doing PenFoster. I learned about Bloody Kansas. I learned that it was a series of violent civil confrontations in the United States between 1854 and 1861. Which emerged from the political ideological debate over the legality of slavery.  




LANGUE ARTS
I read a book series called the Ascending Trilogy. I LOVED IT SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!  The books are 1) The False Prince  2) The Runaway King  3) The Shadow Throne. 
I did my spelling. I did my typing. I can type at 40 wpm. I did my grammar. 



DRONE
I turned in my last assignment. It was a video montage. I took pictures and videos of everything I have been working on. I flew my drone. I worked on my editing skills with WeVideo.

GYMNASTICS
I went to class this week. I did my aerial on the ground. I did my front walkover. I did my roundoff back walkover. I am working on my flexibility. I am working on my strength. 

Week 38

MATH
I played Prodigy. I learned about adding and subtraction fractions. I play for an hour a day. I also learned about graphs. I also learned about negative numbers. I also have been learned about the Pythagorean Theorem. 




SCIENCE
I learned about Panda Bears. I learned that without the black and white colors the babies would not be able to see their moms. I also learned about Manatees. I learned that there are only 3,00 left in the world. I also learned that they breathe air. I learned that people get to close to them they hit them and kill them. They are known as sea cows. 




LANGUE ARTS/SOCIAL STUDIES
I did my typing. I did my spelling. I did my reading. I can type at 35 wpm. I learned about nouns. I learned that a noun is a person, place, or thing. I did pen foster. I learned about slaves. I learned about Harriet Tubmen. I learned about Marten Luther King Jr. 





GYMNASTICS
I went to class today. I did an aerial with a small spot. I practiced every day. I did my handstands. I practiced my tricks on the tramp. I also have been working on my core strength. 



DRONE
I have been working on my assignments. I have been working on flying my drone. I have been working super hard on my assignments. I only have one left. Here is the link to the new video I made with my drone. Please tell me what you think!

Week 37

MATH
I played prodigy. I finished the geometry lesson. I also stared and finished adding and subtraction fractions with whole numbers. I am now working on the Pythagorean Theorem. I learned what it is. You square the 2 numbers you have, add them. The find the square root of that number. 




SCIENCE/SOCIAL STUDIES
I learned about slavery. I learned about the underground railroads that the slaves used to escape. I also learned that a slave was treated very poorly. I also learned that families would be broken up, and that most of the time they would never see each other again. 
I learned about natural disasters. I learned that a natural disaster is an earth quake, tornado, tsunami, mud slide,  and a volcanic eruption.





LANGUE ARTS
I am reading the 2nd book to Beyonders. I also did my typing. I can type at 35 wpm. I have an average of 97% accuracy.  I did my spelling. I got all the words right. 




DRONE
I practice flying my drone this week. I did an assignment. I am working on flying it. I am also working with WeVideo.




GYMNASTICS
I did an aerial. I did a front walkover. I did a back walkover. I did a back tuck. I am working on straitening my legs when I do my tricks.
