Week 32

MATH

I played Prodigy. I finished learning about graphs. I am now doing a review on fractions. I learned about multiplying fractions. I earned about dividing fractions. I learned about adding fractions. I learned about subtracting fractions. I learned how to reduce a fraction. 

SCIENCE

I learned about the disease called CF, or Cystic Fibrosis. I learned that it makes your organs, mostly your lungs, not work correctly. Like there lungs can't break down and get rid of mucus, then the mucus blokes air passageways. There are medics to help, but it can not be cured, and it is most often fatal. I learned that it is a genetic disease and that two people that have it have different strands of it. I learned that you can't be more then 5 feet away from someone else who has CF because they could catch there disease and make your's a ton worse, and you could die much sooner. Like if your lungs where at a 38% working, and you got a strand of CF from someone else, it could drop your lungs down from a 38% to a 5% or 6%. On the same, or different lung. 

LANGUE ARTS

I read 3 Candy Apple books and 2 Poison Apple books. I did typing. I can type at about a steady speed of 35-40 words per minute. I did spelling. I had a hard time spelling bicycle. I watched some Grammeropolis. I also have been reading the Drivers Ed book.

SOCIAL STUDIES

I did Pen Foster. I am reading and learning about early American History. I learned about the French and Indian war. I also learned about the Boston Tea Party. I learned that Americans would refuse to drink tea because the King raised the taxes to high.

DRONE

I learned how to take a photo and video with the drone. I learned that moving the switch up is photo and down is video. I worked with WeVideo. I learned how to do a voice over with it. 

GYMNASTICS

I practiced a lot at home. I worked on my backhand springs. I also did a back walkover, front walkover, back walkover, front walkover combo. I also have been working on my aerials. I have almost got them.

Week 31

MATH

I played prodigy. I learned about graphes. I am learning how to know what side of the graph is x and what side of the graph is y. I am working on knowing what is the vertical side and the horizontal line of the graph is. 

SCIENCE 

I learned about chocolate. I learned that to temper chocolate means to make it shiny. I learned to do that you have to heat and cool it lots of times. I learned that chocolate can be a liquid and a solid. I am working on memorizing all of my states and capitals. 

LANGUAGE ARTS

I finished the second and third book to Ally Carter's Heist Society books. I did spelling tutor. I got all the words right. I did typing. I did spelling. I did reading.

SOCIAL STUDIES 

I am working on Pen Foster. I am continuing to learn about American History. I just learned about the Boston tea party. I learned about all the intolerable acts. I learned about George Washington's life. 

GYMNASTICS

I went to class this week. I am working on my front walkovers. I did a perfect back walkover. I did a front handspring on the tramp. I can do a front walkover on the tramp. 

DRONE

I am learning how to take a photo with my drone. It has been really wet and rainy here, so I haven't been able to test it yet. But I am learning about it. I made a drone video. I made a video with WeVideo. Here is the link to it

Week 30

MATH
I played prodigy. I am working on graphes. I worked on getting to a higher level of the dark tower. I am almost on level 60. I also fought the titan. I beat it. I also did some missions for the academy. 


SCIENCE
I learned about Elephants. I learned that an elephant can be pregnant fro 2 years. I learned that if there tusks are cut off but the roots are still there then they can grow back. I learned that the tuskes are a extension of the upper canines. I also learned that the trunk in an extension of the upper lip. 



LANGUAGE ARTS
I read a book called heist Society. I read it in about 3 days. It has 287 pages. I did typing. I did spelling. I did grammaropolis. I am writing a book called the Adventures of Em and Alex. 



SOCIAL STUDIES
I am doing Pen Foster. I am learning about American history. I learned that Benjamin Franklin invented electricity. I learned that Thomas Edison invented the light bulb. I learned that Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. 



GYMNASTICS
I am working on my front walkovers. I am working on my back walkovers. I am working on my aerials and front flips. I went to class this week. At class I worked on my roundoff back handspring. 



DRONE
I am working on figuring out how to take a picture with my drone. I am working on my editing program to get more comfortable with it. I am also learning how to do a voice over with WeVideo. I am working on getting better at flying it. 

Week 29

MATH

I played prodigy. I am working on my graphs. I finished my graphs. I am now working on negative numbers again. I am adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing them. 

LANGUE ARTS

I read a book called Academy 7. I did spelling tutor. I spelled words like, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I also learned the difference between of and off. Of mean of something, off means to turn or get off of. I am also working on a story. It is called the Adventures of Em and Alex. I am on capture 4.

SCIENCE

I learned about naked mole rats. I learned that they are not related to a mole, or a rat. But to a hamster. I also learned that they are not actually naked. They have a lot of really small, fine hairs and baggy skin that helps then navigate there tunnels. I learned that they are very social. I learned that there tunnels can go up to 8 feet underground. I also learned that they live in Africa. 

SOCIAL STUDIES

I am continuing to learn about American History. I learned about the Boston Tea PArty. I learned about thieves and smugglers. I learned about Ben Franklin.

GYMNASTICS

I went to class this week. I am working on my aerials. I am working on my front walkovers. I am working in my core. I  am also working on my back handsprings. I am working on my front flips.

DRONE

I am working on figuring out how to take a picture with my drone. I am working on y drone assignments. I am working on taking long pictures from the sky. I am also learning about the rule of thirds.
