week 21

MATH
I did lesson 80. I learned about distance problems.
I did lesson 81. I learned about X's on both sides.
I did lesson 82. I learned about Refrigerator repairs.
I did chapter test 10. I got  95% or  23/24.
I did lesson 83. I learned about reducing fractions with X's.





LANGUAGE ART
I did my nose tree. I did my zaner blaster spelling. I did reading. I am reading 2 books. One of them is called "Only the Good Spy Young". And the second book is called "DemiGods and Magicians". I did 5 hours of writing. I did 2 lessons of Typing. 



SCIENCE
I learned about Albert Einstein. I learned that he was born in Ulm Germany, in 1879. He was a slow starter.  He couldn't  talk until he was three. He taught himself Geometry when he was 12. He graduated in 1900 at the age of 21. At age 26 he published the Annus Mirabilis papers. They are four papers contributed substantially to the foundation of modern physics and changed views on space, time, mass, and energy. The first paper talked about how light can be a wave and a particle. He won the nobel prize for that paper in 1921. The second paper confirmed the existence of addams and molecules. The third paper talked about special relativity and how in a dark room light travels the same. In the fourth paper he wrote his famous E=MC2. In 1911 he became a physics professor. He died in 1955 at the age of 76. 


SEWING
We had sewing class. I am making a IPad mini bag. I have cut out the pieces and sewn the velcro on the bag.

GAME DESIGN
I am thinking on what my game should be. I am thinking that there will be more than one level and it will be a maze.

week 20

MATH
I did lesson chapter quiz 9. I got 95% or 23/24.

I did lesson 76. I learned how to add X's to a problem like 4x + 2x = 18. You just add the 4 and the 2 to get 6 then you add the x back on to get a problem like this. 6x = 18. Then you solve by dividing 18 by 6 which is 3. So x = 3. 

I did lesson 77. I learned about subtracting X's in a problem like 8x - 3x = 15. You just subtract 8 and 3. Then you undo the normal way by dividing.
I did lesson 78.

 I learned how X and 1x mean the same, so in a problem like 7x + x = 12 you add 7 and x, and you imagine that x looks like 1x so you add 7 + 1 and that is 8. The you undo the normal way.  

I did lesson 79. I learned about work problems. Like " Scott can deliver 10 pizzas in 1 hour and Kenna can deliver 12 per hour. How many hours will it take them to deliver 110 pizzas? 
 You add 12 and 10 then you divided by 110 and you get the answer. The answer is 5. It will take them 5 hours to deliver 110 pizzas.

I am reading to my sisters. I did grammaropolis. I did spelling classroom. I did zaner balster. I did Nose tree. I did reading. I wrote in my journal. 


SCIENCE
I learned about horses

Horse is a very powerful animal. They have proved to be a good companion and friend of man. It is so graceful, so useful, so swift, so energetic and so devoted to its master.The history of domestication of horses is as old as 5000 years. In history, great heroes are inseparable from their favorite horses. Thus, we have Alexander and his Bucephalus, and Rana Pratap and his Chaitak.The scientific name of horse is Equus caballus.

SEWING
I sewed some holes in a snow suit. There was about 4-5 holes. I just got a needle and thread and sewed up the holes.  Every time i sewed up a hole it is like a new one appeared! 



GAME DESIGN  
I finished my game. It was very fun. I added a background. Here is a picture of the start.

MATH
I did lesson 72. I learned how to undo an equations like this, 3x+4=22.
I did lesson 73. I learned how to undo equations. I did lesson 74. I learned about simplifying equations. 
I did lesson 75. I learned about simplifying more equations.






LANGUAGE ARTS
I did my zaner blaster. I did grammaropolis. I did my handwriting. I am reading the second book of Gallagher girls. It is called Cross my Heart and Hope to Spy.

  


SCIENCE

I made a K pillow. It is big. It is made out of horse fabric. I am working on my pants. I finished my pants. They are really comfy. Here is a pic.

I am working in my game. I am at the part where i am making the spaceships move. Here is a pic of that to. I am trying to put a pic for the background instead of black.

MATH
I did lesson 68. I learned about order.
I did lesson 69. I learned how to write equations in the correct order.
I did lesson 70. I learned about order in teh fraction bar.
I did lesson 71. I learned about using a fraction bar in a equation.



LANGUAGE ARTS
I am reading a book called dead end.
I finished a book called dead end. 

I am doing handwriting. I wrote a whole page about bears. I did my Grammaropolis. I did ZB spelling. I did Nitro Type.

I wrote a paper about Elephants. 

I wrote a paper about blacktip reef shark.

I did my nose tree.

I am reading a book called..." I'd tell you i love you but then i'd have to kill you".

SCIENCE
I learned how bears act in the wild. I learned that water is the only defence for deer against wolves.
I learned about bears.  

Bears usually have a big body with short and thick legs. They only have a very short tail. They have small eyes and round ears. They usually have longer, shaggy fur. On each foot they have five claws, which they cannot pull back. They have very good sense of smell and hearing. They can stand up on their back legs. Usually bears can climb and swim very well. I learned about Elephants.Elephant ears radiate heat to help keep these large animals cool, but sometimes the African heat is too much. Elephants are fond of water and enjoy showering by sucking water into their trunks and spraying it all over themselves. Afterwards, they often spray their skin with a protective coating of dust. An elephant's trunk is actually a long nose used for smelling, breathing, trumpeting, drinking, and also for grabbing things especially a potential meal. The trunk alone contains about 100,000 different muscles. I wrote a paper about blacktip reef shark. The Blacktip Reef shark is named for the characteristic black tips on its dorsal and caudal fins. It has a short, round snout and angled, saw-like teeth. Its white belly and dark back allow it to camouflage with the dim seafloor and the brighter ocean surface. Blacktip Reef sharks swim in shallow waters just a few meters deep near reefs and drop-off zones. They have also occasionally been sighted in freshwater. These sharks often swim in schools.These sharks sometimes jump fully out of the water during feeding frenzies.Blacktip Reef sharks primarily feed on reef fish but sometimes eat crustaceans, cephalopods and mollusks. These sharks can grow up to 6 feet long.Blacktip Reef sharks are commonly found along the coastlines of Pacific regions, such as Thailand, Japan, Philippines, New Caledonia and northern Australia. They are also found in the Indian Ocean from South Africa to the Red Sea.These sharks are not currently endangered, but the species is experiencing population loss due to overfishing. I learned about Monkeys. Monkey is funny and very intelligent animal. It has the art of imitation. It has feelings like humans. It lives up to 15-35 years. Monkeys are of different size, shape and colours. Monkey has four hands and a long tail. It uses its two hind limbs as its hands to eat, to play and to take care of its kids. The diet of monkey includes nuts, berries and fruits. Its favourite fruit is banana. It lives in jungle and jump from tree to tree. Monkeys are also used by the people for the road show. There are many different things that come to mind when we think about Monkeys. They are often seen as being cute and highly intelligent animals. There are many different species that have their own characteristics in terms of size, color, location, and even their abilities. They are known for being good care givers to the young and even having some humanistic movements.

Monkeys are very vocal animals and that is their name way of communicating with each other. They give of different pitches to warm off danger, to call a mate, and even to communicate with their young. Even though the communication of Monkeys has long been studied, there is a great deal that we still don’t know about it.

There are 264 known species of Monkeys in the world. They are often included with Apes but they are very different. The main different is that the Apes don’t have a tail.

I learned about fin whales.The fin whale is 18–27 metres (59–89 feet) long, with short baleen and 56–100 grooves along its throat and chest. It is found in all the world’s oceans, in groups of a few to several hundred. Some fin whale populations live and feed in temperate waters during the summer and migrate to warmer waters in winter to breed. The fin whale’s diet is unusually diverse for a cetacean, ranging from small crustaceans, such as copepods and krill, to fish and squid.

The fin whale was once a commercially valuable species, but populations were substantially reduced during the mid-20th century by overhunting. Though listed as an endangered species , it is now commonly seen in the Northern Hemisphere and is protected by limits on the number that can be taken for noncommercial purposes. In the Southern Hemisphere, however, encounters with this species are rare.

The fin whale and blue whale (Balaeonoptera musculus) are related, as both are rorquals belonging to the family Balaenopteridae. The latter portion of the fin whale’s scientific name, physalus, was once used in reference to all rorquals.

SEWING
I finished my makeup bag. I sewed on the zipper by myself. It is black and pink and white. It is about the size of a normal makeup bag. The inside is pink and white polka dots. On the outside, half of it is black and pink and white paris and teh other half is black and white print. 



GAME DESIGN  
I am working on my game. It is a alien game. some aliens fall from the sky and you have to shoot them before they hit a red line. If they hit the red line a certain amount of times them you die.

week 17

MATH
I did lesson 64. I learned about Undoing Equations with negatives.
I did lesson 65. I learned about negatives and fractions.
I did lesson 66. I learned about -x.
I did lesson 67. I learned about -x in a fraction.
I did chapter quiz 8.



LANGUAGE ARTS
I finished a book called heartless. I was not pleased with the ending. It was not a happily ever after. I did nutro type. I did my handwriting. I did grammaropolis. I did reading. I did spelling.



SCIENCE
I learned that you can clean a pot with Coca Cola. I did a science experiment. I made goop. It was made out of glue and water and one of the powders they game me. 


GAME DESIGN
I am making a new game. I a on the part where i am starting evrything. I am not close to being done. It is an Alien one.


SEWING  
I made a makeup bag. It is pink and black and white. I sewed on teh zipper. I am working in a pair of pants.
