week 21

MATH 
I did some pentominoes puzzles.
I learned about reducing a fraction. i got 100% or 21/21.
I learned about the greatest common factor. i got 100% or 21/21.
I did lesson 25. I got 100% or 21/21.
I learned about factoring and canceling.
I did lesson 26. I got 95% or 20/21.
I learned about Prime numbers.

LANG ARTS
I am reading princess in disguise. 
I am also reading the first book in the maze runner series.
I am reading Percy Jackson's Greek heroes, for the second time. 
I learned about the tion and the sion combination.
I learned the differences between pail ( the bucket) and pale ( she is looking pale).



HISTORY 
I am working on a report about the 2nd world war. I have learned so much i never knew! I have three pages full of info. I am also learning about Anne Frank. Who was alive during the War. I watched her Biography video several times to learn about her.                    

SEWING 
I helped make some head bands. I cut the patterns, I also sewed the ends of the head bands. 

we made lots of headbands. we used the knit fabric.  we made a gray striped, a colored striped, a flower, a black, a purple and black striped, a plane light purple, and a black and white striped.


PHOTOGRAPHY 
I turned in my assignment. it was the rule of thirds. here are some pics. I turned in 3 of them but I liked all of them.

week 20

MATH 
I learned about the improper fraction. i got 100% or 20/20.
I learned about righting a fraction in two ways. I got 90% or 19/21.
I learned about equivalent fractions. I got 100% or 21/21. I have done 3 lessons in my teaching textbooks.
I did chapter quiz 4. i got 100% or 24/24.
LANG ARTS
I finished my goddess girls book. i am now reading the last goddess girl book called "Hesta 
the invisible".   

I finished hesta the invisible.

In this book you could relate to the character more then the other goddess girl books.

I started on the second lesson (the first one was alphabetizing) in my spelling book.

I learned about the root word ject. It means to through, like in the word object. (like in the court) it means to through you opinion out.

I also learned what a homograph is, like the word object, you could emphasize the ob and you would have OB-ject, but to make it mean something different you will need to emphasize the ject to get ob-JECT.   

HISTORY 
I learned that Martin Luther King Jr. day is his birth day.
I learned the jalapeno peppers where the first pepper to travel in space. i am going to do a report on pandas. ( i will show a pic when its all done)


SEWING
I made a ball gown that is blue and gold. 
It was a normal long shirt, and then i found some gold sparkly fabric, i hand stitched it on, and then i cut a peace of fabric the was the same stuff as my shirt and made a belt to cover the seem.
I also made an American Girl doll sleeping mask. I used some scrap fusible fleece  from an other project and i cut it and my fabric and fused it on then, i sewed all around leaving hols on the sides for the elastic and turned it right side out. i added the elastic then made a final stitch all around.     
PHOTOGRAPHY

I am also working on the rules of thirds.

week 19

MATH 
I did (in my teaching textbooks) chapter quiz 3. It reviewed everything I learned this year in math.
I got 100% or 23/23.  
I learned about fractions. i got 100% or 20/20, in lesson 28. 
I learned the factors of 12 are 1,2,3,4,6,7. 
I did lesson 29. i got 100% or 21/21. In the lesson I learned that the denominator can not be a 0. so theirs no such thing as 0/2.    



LANG ARTS 
I started and finished Goddess girls Medusa the rich. I also did some typing, letter c,g, and n. I learned about  the difference between brake (to slow down) and break ( to brake a toy)  
I am reading Amphitrite the bubbly. It is a bout a girl who is invited to go to the temple games, but titans take over.
I did some cursive, it was..."I am a great believer in luck,and i fined the harder i work the more i have of it". Thomas Jefferson.   



HISTORY
I am reading Beforever Caroline. It was in the year 1812. Both where needing of men and ships, so they captured what ever men or ships they could fined. 
    


SEWING
I made my brother a light saber belt. 
We went to my grandmas house and got lots of new fabric, i plan on making a scarf fro my friend.
I also made a shirt and pants for my barbie.


PHOTOGRAPHY
I took some pictures of our dolls. we got them in actions in our doll house and the lighting was WAY of so we had to experiment and fix the lighting.
