Learning log week 23 - 28

Math
I did mt pre-test and i out of 30 problems i only got 3 wrong and in a  new math program mom had to move me to 7th grade. i did some work book pages in Saxon math and in them i learned about graphs and fractions and how to add parts of a hole and i also did tree frog treasure and in that game i learned where to put fractions between a hole and zero.

Lang arts

I am reading Percy Jackson Greek Gods for the 3rd time and i also played a game where i was running for president and i learned the different between ant (the animal) and aunt (the person) and would ( would you come with me) and wood ( wood the tree).    

  

And i am reading a book called thunder in paradise.

science

I learned that the first things in a hot air balloon was a sheep,rooster,and duck.

I am learning about Greek mythology.

I learned about the titans and Hesta, Aphrodite,Zeus,Ares,Hera,Athena,Hephaestus,Detemner, and Poseidon. 

I went to the children's museum and in one of the things there is a big tube of ink and a big magnet on the out side of it and the magnet was so strong that it lifted the ink in the inside!

I learned that a bats wing is skinny fingers with skin in between the fingers!

MATH
I did some work book pages and i learned how to  multiply long numbers divided by two numbers.
I made bars all by my self and i played weely and i also learned that when you add so many numbers you add the largest number that is 
in the bunch.
I learned about provability and that if in a bag there
 was 5 red marbles and 3 blue and 2 yellow the provability of getting a red is pretty high.   
I Did Five work book pages in Saxon math and in them i added and subtracted long numbers like 6 times 7 = 42 mines  2 = 40 divided by 5 = 8 plus 1= 9 divided by 3 = 4 mines 3 = 1 LANG ARTS  
I am reading Samuel and the thunder on paradise and i really like it and i did some cursive and in that cursive i did grammar at the same time!!
I played brain pop and i was a a person how helped other people have there rites. 
I am reading Percy Jackson Greek Gods.
SCIENCE   
I watched some wild kratts and octonauts and i learned about blob fish and that thy don't have any bones and that they don't move very often and they are mostly made of jelly.and about orca and that they live in pods and that if one has its own sound. 
I also learned about the octopus and that they too have no bones.
I learned about a cool symbiotic relationship under the sea the sea urchin and crab the sea urchin protects the crab and the crab feeds the sea urchin.

MATH
I made a store with all of my sisters and we bot things in it and we did all the money things like if a thing is 3$ and she only has 5$ bill i have to exchange the 5$ bill into 3$. And i also bot things and have to add all the things i bot and give the money.
I did some work book pages in Saxon math and i did word problems and i learned that when you have $5.25 and you spend $3.18 and $1.2 the money you have left over is $1.5.  
I learned about the circle and that a middle of the circle is called a point and half line is called a diameter and the point to the out side is called a radius.I also played Hooda math and i played all of the levels of weely 2 and i completed all of it. 

Science 
I learned about kidney stones and how they form and why we get them and how they exit.
I also learned about drugs and that if you take to many pills the doctors will have to empty your stomach of all of the pills and i also learned about a plant called a marijuana and that it is bad for you and some people smoke it and it is illegal to grow it so some people sell it illegally.

  I watched a wild kratts on the sperm whale and that is the deposit diver in the world and that it can hold its breath for 100 mins!

I also learned about the giant squid and that it has a eye the size of a x-large pizza and it has rotating hooks on each of its suckers and it arms.

I played wheely 4 and finished the game start to end i feel really proud.  

 LANG ARTS 
I read and finished a book called the lucky ice skates.
I played a typing game and i past a level of it and i am doing the blog.
I played a racing car game on learn to type and i am at level 3 and i have 3 cars and 3 is my fave number!!!
I did a cursive page and i also learned when to yous a or an you yous an if  the first letter is a vowel then you yous it like in AN Elephants tail and if you you a you need the first letter to be a consent like in a horses head.   

march 6-9

MATH
I did a Saxon math work book pages and i did word problems and in them added and subtracted long numbers like this one 1+6+9+46+24+57=143. and subtracted long numbers like this one 123624-1930=121694.

SCIENCE
We did a experiment and it was that would a piece of metal sink or float it sank because it was heavy like a rock even thew it was only a string it is still heaver then water. and we played with gak and i put some over the top of a cup and pressed down it made a tooting sound because all the air is trying to escape but theirs no room.
i also learned about the Gila monster.

I learned that a Gila monster and i only needs 3 large meals a year to keep it healthy all year a along. 

   LANG ARTS 

I have been reading this book and i really like it.

I have also finished my Percy Jackson Greek gods for the second time.

I played a game called jump start advance 5th grade.

and i learned that Africa is the worlds largest diamond supplier.
