log week 23-27

                                 MATH
I did three Saxon math work pages and i did lots of word problems. and i practiced adding long numbers and subtracting long numbers.
I played some pentominoes two different days. The activity was fitting the given shapes into the space provided.
 I also played allowance and learned how to exchange bills for coins,a dollar is 2 quarters 3 dimes and 5 nickels.

LANG ARTS 

I did a spelling test with 12 words and i got 100% on it and i did a pre- test and also got 100% and i learned in that lesson about the spelling combos te makes the sh sound and ou that makes the  oo sound. I have been reading the  Percy Jackson Greek Gods book and i love it!!    

SCIENCE 

I learned about high fructose corn syrup  and that it has to much Mercury in it that it can kill you early  and give you less chance off having kids.

I read about the anopheles mosquito and that when it bites you you have a 99% chance of getting malaria parasite and its life span is about two weeks.

And both boy and girl drink blood but it is always at the ankle.

And about 665,000 of them are killed a year. 

   

log 16 through 20th

MATH
I did some workbook pg and i did a graph on are counting bears and i did some weighing  with them to i learned that a small bear  weigh at least 5 gm  and medium  bear weigh 15 gm and a big bear weigh at least 20 gm.

Lang arts
I am on the last Gallagher girls series and i will really miss it and i am reading Leven thumps and i am on the second book of it and i started an new series and it is called Michel Vay. and i learned when and where to put an coma.

Science
I watched a good eats and learned that the banana is the most popular fruit in the united states of america. they also serve banana pudding in space.
I watched a show on sea horses and that they are fish.I also learned that a male sea horse gives berth instead of the female. 

              

Feb 9th - Feb 13th

Math
I did some workbook pages and I learned a lot about word problems and that sometimes they will put  not helpful information to trick you up.
I did a work sheet.


Science  
I read a science book and learned that you can learn more from seeing things then reading things.
I watched a show on pollinators and how they drink it and what bird or bug drinks nectar from there own plant of flower.
  

Lang Arts
I did a family tree and I drew it all by myself and I did a write source that taught me how to use a coma and when to use it. 

Tech
I did a assignment and I got to use a lot of new pieces and I did a video and a picture.
      

Feb 2nd through the 6th

Math
I practiced word problems and I practiced my adding and subtracting multiple numbers. I added numbers like this 23864+5903=24457.
I did a math work sheet and i practiced my fractions. 
  





Lang arts
I played a game with homophones on cards  and with these cards i played old made and learned about 26 different homophones.
I matched homophones with there descriptions. 
I played go fish with the matches that i put together yesterday.
I learned about ear and what words have it and i also i learned about ph.   


Science 
I watched some science videos about tissues in out body.
I watched a wild kratts on the only egg laying mammal the.....
platypus!!
We watched a wild kratts on the different animals that has Prairie in the names and theirs five different animals withe the name starting with Prairie as the beginning. 

S.S (social study)
I watched a show called wild kratts and we learned about Buffalo,possum,
I learned about the first thanksgiving and about the Pilgrims.  


Lego 
we made a Lego city and i took pics of it.
