week 16 December 15-19

                                                                   Math
    I learned how to do short division and what the little number means.
I learned how to count money and work hard.
I did fractions and i learned about percentages like 1/8 it is 80% is the hole but one peace is 10%.


  Lang.Arts
I did a homophone crossword puzzle.
I learned about conjoining words.(and,but,or,nor,for,so,and yet).
I learned about the words there( go sit over there. 
and their( their house is very messy)


 Sci.S.S
I discovered about quicksand and sand. quicksand is soft and loos soil and sand is ruff and hared. 
In my science book i learned about dames and how they are helpful and how they are bad lots of fish die because they don't have the room they need to lay eggs. 
I learned about a thing called a Tektites they are a tip of glass that is many in number.


Tech
 I did a assignment that tat me what is a good conductor like water and milk is good ones but juice is not.    

December 8th through the 12th

                                                                         Math 
I practiced my division and my word problem and adding.
I helped my mom make cream of  wheat and we had to add  three mixed numbers three times and so in that time i learned how to add fractions like this one....3/4 + 1/2 + 2/3 we need to make the bottom number the same. so we multiply the numbers so the bottom is the same....
3/4 x 3 on the top and x 3 one the bottom. it equals 9/12 
and we do the same with the other ones 1/2 x 6 one the top and bottom and it equals 6/12 and 2/3 x 4 on each side.and now the bottom number is the same.so now we just add the top numbers.......9/12 + 6/12 + 8/12= 23/12 we cant do that and we know that at least theirs one 12 so the wright answer is 1 11/12. 
For math today i practiced my adding mixed numbers. i did 15 of them and most of them write!
I practiced variables as is m,s,a,q, and it could be any number.

I learned that in a popcorn carnal it is wet and when water gets hot it boils, so in the carnal the heat is so much that it pops and the yummy insides come out. And when you put oil in the pot the insides absorb the oil casing it it have flavor! 
I learned about the great shadow of the earth.(solar eclipse)
and that it will happen next is 2017!!
I learned about lightning and that it will hit any thing that is tall and the safest place to be in a thunderstorm is on a car because the out side of the car is mettle so the lightning paces wright over it.
I learned that dogs have been friends for over 15000 years! and the oldest fossil of a dog is 14000 years old!!
I learned about how Archaeology was born and in Turkey they found stuff over 3,200 years old, that's when Archaeology was born!! 
I watched lots of brain pop videos and i learned about....

I learned the different of sail(lets sail the sea)

and cent (i have one cent in my penny bank) 
I learned when to yous quotation marks and capitalization. ( "Let me help out." said bill.)  
I learned the different between the words sun( the sun is so hot today.)
and son(your son is so funny!)

December,1st through the 5th

I did very very very long division ( 4 numbers divided by 1 number)

I practiced addition and subtraction word problems.

I also did the most essayist thing in the world.......rounding big huge numbers!
I purchased Christmas presents with my own money and i counted the money all by myself with the change to. 
I played the allowances game and i learned that saving money is very very very in portent.  
I did the most long division in the world.......7 digests long and 4 digests wide!!!

I learned the differences of the words write and right. ( right as in 
right shoo and write as in write me a letter). 
I learned the differences of the words road (as in car road)
And rode (as in i rode a horse)
I learned that in Egypt there is a road  that leads to the temple Giza that was 4,600 years old and we still use it!!

I learned that mostly every thing we eat has sugar! 

But we need sugar to make energy but fruit has good sugar that makes more energy then normal sugar. but to mush can be bad.    
I had a discussion on whats in shots and what the purpose is for them.
I learned that scoliosis is a bad bad bad thing. it makes the children's back all curved but a good thing is that you cant catch it, you are borne with it.
I learned about a weather balloons and that it can also tell the weather people about pollution. (best balloon ever!!)   
I learned about  weather satellites and one is a new one and her name is Terra and she was launched on December,19.1980.And people think that she will help us now why the earths weather changes.

I submitted an assignment that was so long i thought i was going to not submitted it on time!!
My favorite one was the street lamp and it was s cool because the lest amount of light it goes brighter.

Nov 17th through 21st

    I practiced my fractions and mixed numbers and that a mixed number has to have a hole number and a fraction.
I practiced division 2 digits divided by 1 digit. I also learned about graphs and how we yous them in are modern day life.
In Brain pop I did estimation and fractions.
I played the Allowance game again and i learned how in-portent it is to save your money. 
I found out that a cube has 6 sides but a squarer has 4 sides.
I experimented with a counting bored and made new patterns.

I learned when to put a coma in the rite place.
I learned how to yous a draft and when to yous a draft.
I practiced capital cursive D,G,E,L,J,G. 
I learned when to yous colons and what in the world they are.
I practiced my reading and comprehension.
I practiced cursive opposite like this one...BIG/small
I also learned what word to use in the sentience and how to use them.
I practiced cursive and at the same time i was doing Grammar and adjectives!!!

 I discovered that the boa is not poisonous and it kills its pray by squeezing its prey to death!!!!  
I drew a pic of the earth moon and sun.
           

I learned about the dragonfly and it only lives for 1 year!!!! And that it is such a cool animal!

I discovered that a animal called a Nautilus  

Scientists say that a spiral is one day but i think that it is a month.

I watched a show on watermelon and did you know that are cantaloupe is a fake? 

And one on dinosaurs and did you know that we know all we know by Dino bones!

I found a fish that dose not freeze because it has no red blood cells!

Black mold is very very very bad and it could make you very very very sick,but gray mold is OK, its not the pretest thing in the world but i will deal with it any day if it meant not messing with black mold!! 

I watched a show on porcupines and it was so cool!!

I learned that a humpback wail sings a beautiful song that lasts 10-30 mins!      

Lego  

I built a horse stable with food,brush,And hay.  

November 10th through the 14th

Math 

I played the Allowance game.  While playing that game I learned how to change currency amounts and currency values. I also used addition and subtraction every time I took a turn. 

I practiced long addition. (2 digits, plus 2 digits, plus 2 digits)

 I learned about Shapes in our world. I learned how we would not have anything without shapes.

I practiced long division 3 digits by 1 digits.

I practiced word problems with addition and subtraction.

  Language arts 

I finished Percy Jackson Blood of Olympus, and Animorphs book 6 and I am reading book 7.

I learned the difference between the homophones knows & no, nose & knows our & hour.

I took an 80-word spelling test and only mist 13. 

I wrote a speech for an election we were doing.

I learned the many uses of her. 

I did a book report on Sisters Grimm if it was a movie.

I learned about the election processes.

I learned about the kudzu vine. And that it grows very fast. And they will not let anything else grow there.  

I learned about the fiction monster Bigfoot. And that Frankenstein created him in books.

I learned about recycling old tiers and its many many uses.

I learned about snoring and how it affects sleep.

  I submitted an assignment.

It told me that batteries can only flow one way.

I also learned how negative and positive effects the circuit.

Lego

I built a house with a wall of vines, I also built a carriage, with a step to get out when the carriage stopped. I also made:

kitchen

and a shade for the horse 

Most of it I followed the instructions but I made my own carriage and kitchen.
